From the beginning of mankind the human being has looked for the supra conscience. ANAHATA NADAM PURAM is a very old meditation which instructs about the capacity of listening to silence as a lively source of communication with superior dimensions of the celestial world. It is based on the teaching of the ADVAITA and is a part of the following quartet.
AJNA CHAKRA: light
SHAUM: nectar
ANAHATA NADAM: sounds of silence.
VALAM: alert senses.
Getting back to ANAHATA NADAM I must tell you that the primary sound, OM, bases on a silence with vibrations that leads to SACHIDANANDA, BEING in the silence, ENERGY in the silence, fulfillment in the silence.
Don’t think the ether is empty, with no existence. No, silence is full of vibrations and sounds, some coming from the astral, others from higher dimensions.
If you calm your body and mind down, you will soon listen to a kind of silence which is full of intensity and transcendent quality. Thoughts go away for the dissolute action of the resounding centres (CHAKRAS)
